The OPTISWITCH 6700 is a capacitance level switch for hygienic and general industrial applications requiring IO-Link communication. It detects high or low level and is therefore ideally suited for overfill and empty tank prevention or for dry-run protection of pumps . The device is also designed for the detection of liquid-liquid interfaces or change of media characteristics .

In addition to standard G or NPT male threads, the frequency sweep level switch comes with G thread for hygienic adapters. This makes it a powerful solution for level detection in food applications, e.g. with water, beer, cream as well as viscous or sticky products such as honey . Even sugar, flour or other dry solids can be detected . Due to its resistance to cleaning agents and steam, the level switch also makes a perfect choice for monitoring CIP and SIP cleaning procedures.
